Green tea

Green tea is classified in the group of teas that enchants you with a unique flavour and a rich history that spans thousands of years. China and Japan are considered to be the homelands of green tea. Even though it is tea, that is, leafs of the Camellia Sinensis plant, green tea is significantly different than black tea since it is not exposed to fermentation during processing.

Did you know?

  • Green tea prepared in a normal way has a distinctive bitter taste. That is why we prepare it by cooling down the boiled water to between 60-80 °C.

To make the tea flavour less bitter, set off the boiled water for 5 to 10 minutes to cool. Then pour it over the filter bag in the cup. Green tea is best served without any additions.
