Green tea – Vanilla

  • Green tea is prepared slightly different than other teas – use freshly boiled water, cooled down to around 80 °C.
  • Caffeine is mainly released from the leaves of green tea the first 3 minutes, later tannic substances get released into the drink.

  • Vanilla is an aroma that originates in Mexico. The name "vanilla" comes from Spanish and means "little pod".


To make the tea flavour less bitter, set off the boiled water for 5 to 10 minutes to cool. Then pour it over the filter bag in the cup. Green tea is best served without any additions.
